The thrill and the fun of the sport of surfing. Some people like to bodysurf. Others like to ride a short bellyboard. Most surfers like to ride a regular board and perform on medium size waves. Some surfers prefer the hairy thrill of a big wave. You can go right or left, but you very well can’t go both at once. If you do it is something commonly known in the surfing world as a wipeout. The only way to avoid a wipeout is to take this wide, stink-bug stance. Spread your legs and hang on till your trunks rip, right up the back. View image

Wherever there’s surf riders there’s sure to be reefer smokers, perpetuating the idea that good grass will bring you in closer touch with nature. A word to the wise though, surfers can be clannish and resent outsiders approaching them, especially to ask about scoring weed but be patient and hang-out around them long enough and chances are you’ll get turned on to the best gear around.

Island of Hawaii The only true ‘kick-ass’ Mauie Wowie is found in Maui, Hawaii. This very fine, positively THC-infested weed is usually sticky, a deep, bright green, and crawling with red and orange hairs.

Maui is the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands. Three other islands, Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Molokai, also belong to Maui County. Together, the four islands are known as Maui Nui. In 2000, Maui had a population of 117,644, the third-largest of the Hawaiian islands. Kahului is the largest town on the island with a population of 20,146.

Look how beautiful the island of Hawaii is from earth’s orbit, and imagine that these magnificent islands lay in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean, with the best beaches and scenery (not to mention weed) it’s no wonder this place rocks.  Note: Click the image to see the very cool Landsat photo.

Reefer Madness Reefer Madness was a propaganda film released in 1936 intended to be shown by parents to scare children about cannabis use. The movie was originally financed by a church group and made under the title "Tell Your Children" but it wasn’t until it was rediscovered in the 1970′s, enjoyed more as a comedy by cannabis smokers, that it reached a wider audience.

Reefer Madness was so popular in the 70′s that it became a cult classic and a very significant piece of pop culture. As laughable as Reefer Madness is, due to it’s insane spin, this piece of propaganda perfectly showcases the misconceptions that caused the paranoia which influenced the laws to prohibit marijuana.
