Sri Lanka’s government wants to grow its own marijuana. Which is why I suggest they call it "Colombo Gold" and convince the Tamil Tigers to start smoking it, so they become less aggressive. But seriously a very interesting story came my way the other day, so I’ll share a couple of excerpts and a link to the story:

Facing a lack of the fresh weed for use in traditional Ayurvedic medical preparations, the government ministry responsible wants to be exempted from laws that have made marijuana illegal on the Indian Ocean island since the 1890s.

Whereas, now the are saying: "We are interested in getting some approval to grow some cannabis". – Sri Lanka – We Approve!

Now that I’m back in Brazil it’s safe to write about British Columbia and say a special thanks to the growers that helped me and my crew make it through a hot and thirsty summer, the best in memory. Wow! do you Dudes know how to grow incredible weed, even upside down in some cases but almost always with a nice clean finish and even in the sweet organic outdoor bud.

The most common strains I smoked this past summer were Green Crack, AK47, Juicy Fruit and Jack Herrer, however my favorite BC Bud was the fabulous red-hair pot called "Crash".

A great big sincere "thank you" goes out to my green-thumb friends from British Columbia. I’ll be back in-country this coming summer and ready to throw-down for a big party. You guys n’ gals deserve it!
