Reefer and Poker are controversial issues and politicians try to avoid controversy, however the media will demand to know where an elected official stands on controversial topics.

Smoking reefer and playing on-line poker, in the privacy of your own home, are personal decision that people should be able to make, without interference from a government agency.

Now with Bill Richardson being appointed as Commerce Secretary there’s a glimmer of hope for the future of on-line Poker.

There’s allot of commentary in the blogosphere about how President elect Barack Obama may or may-not positively effect marijuana laws in the USA, well one thing is for sure, he can’t do worse than his predecessor. Here’s a quote from the leader and chief:

Thankfully, learning to play poker is about the easiest card game a person could grasp in a reasonably short period of time. The on-line version is so easy to learn that theoretically a person could be winning real money on the same day that they started to apply themselves, although it’s not recommended to jump right in and play for your hard earned cash, until you have a least an idea of what you’re doing and why.
