A male from Madison confronts 3 years in jail soon after law enforcement stated he smoked homegrown cannabis inside a Wisconsin Dells hotel room. Chase W. Strunk of Madison, is free using a $5,000 bond after preliminary appearing in Columbia County Circuit Court. Wisconsin Dells law enforcement mentioned they responded to a request by staff of the Field Park Motel to evict visitors for harm to the room and due to the pungent, robust smell of marijuana. The marijuana must have been grown in a hydroponic set-up due to the strong smell that was scouring the grounds.According to a complaint, the room, that was specified non-smoking, included cigarette ashes and butts in addition to a cannabis joint; cushions had been beneath water in the hot tub within the room, and the room smelled of pot. Police said Strunk — friends calling him the Stunk the “Skunk” – reported he and 2 buddies came to Wisconsin Dells and proceeded to go drinking. “The Skunk” denied being aware of of anything about marijuana within the hotel, the complaint mentioned.
A witness informed cops “The Skunk” showed her an 1/8th of marijuana and referred to it as his “party weed” and they consumed alcohol in the hotel room and smoked pot. A 2nd observer reported since they didn’t have rolling papers..they used paper from the Bible to roll up a marijuana joint. “The Skunk” stated he informed them he’d pay money for the destruction in the room. Law enforcement officials says they discovered a bag with about 40 grams of pot.Strunk is faced with charges of felony marijuana distribution and as a 2nd or up coming offense and felony possession with intent to deliver THC and cannabinoids. The prices each have a maximum preliminary penalty of 1 and a half years in jail. Based on court records, The “Skunk” was found guilty of possession of marijuana. The karma of marijuana etiquette striking on the sloppy stoners.
