Technology is seen everywhere nowadays. A stoner from Pennsylvania will be dealing with marijuana-related drug possession soon after he sent text messages desiring to buy cannabis to the drastically incorrect phone number: the cell of an off-duty cop. Joshua Neidererf was charged with attempted possession of a tiny bit of hydroponic cannabis after revealing to the policeman where to locate him, said West Manheim Township law enforcement.

The charge comes from texts obtained from police officer Edwin Schneider, who had been off-duty the night when he obtained the very 1st text message that said “Yo its josh n dougs cousin u got ne mids,” said police. As soon as Schneider answered “yo what u need,” the answer was “a small of mid.” The off-duty officer had been mistaken for an illegal pot dealer that tend to have schwag weed.

Schneider identified “mid” as jargon for pot that is of the middle grade garden variety – with the lows dubbed “stress weed” and highs as “dro.” The two men then organized a gathering at the parking lot of a store. Authorities stated that Neiderer even offered Schneider information about the model of his automobile and texted him “Aight il b there in about 5.”

Moments after, Neiderer text messaged “Yo homie I’m here black expedition whip cowboys logo about the front,” said cops. Schneider and officers that were on-duty showed up at the shop and discovered the Ford Expedition together with Neiderer and an additional man positioned alongside it. An illegal marijuana transactions was not to take place, due to the unjust marijuana laws observed by the federal government. Police officers talked to Neiderer, who said he had been there to pick up an eighth of mid-grade marijuana from “JR” that he was sending texts, said authorities.

Neiderer subsequently handed his cell phone over to police officers, who observed the swap which in fact had occurred between the two. Detectives had been struggling to figure out the identification of “JR” and the real number Neiderer had been trying to text message. Law enforcement said Neiderer evidently in no way observed the officer’s automated phone signature of “WMPD477,” mentioning West Manheim Police Department and his own unit, #47-7.
