Clandestine Marijuana Operation Found in Student Dormitory
Filed under College, Interesting Marijuana NewsSep 18
All people from all walks of life smoke weed – No matter location or age. This prime example is ever apparent after the Kebayoranbaru Police from South Jakarta, Indonesia seized about 400 pounds of marijuana that turned up in a college university apartment building. The student dormitory housed students from various schools around the area. With the stigma of college, comes the stigma of smoking marijuana. After students and friends that were involved with hiding the marijuana in the dormitory admitted to the concealing of the cannabis, police seized all the hidden pot into police confiscation.
“The marijuana-related case is a continuation from AF whom introduced the cannabis. During a two-week stretch, all of us continued to search and sleuth into their networks,” reported AKBP Adex – the leader of the Kebayoranbaru Sector Police. The marijuana examination lead to the unveiling of dried out marijuana – resembling that of Mexican brick weed – by the AF that was hidden within the grounds of the student dorm room in Tamansari, Indonesia. The marijuana was hidden to the naked eye, but not the aromatic-skunk smell which emitted into adjacent dorm rooms. Law enforcement totaled the hidden low-grade cannabis to be roughly 388 pounds. The marijuana smugglers hid the cannabis in cardboard boxes from electronic appliances.
“As it turns out, the AF is currently investigating a case of marijuana that totals over 6 pounds which is handled by the Palmerah Sector Police, while the marijuana that was found in the dormitory was well over 300 pounds, plus,” he said. Adex added, the suspect in the connection for playing hide-and-go-seek with the marijuana has been a tenant in the student dormitory for a few months. “The police are broadening our investigation in regards to delivery of the cannabis. However, we always had a clue it came from the area of Aceh, Indonesia which all the marijuana flower was going to be distributed in the Jakarta area,” he said. The price of one pound of stress weed would roughly be the amount of $1.5 million. “$1.5 mil is just the wholesale price, while the retail price tag could end up with a nice sum of $2.5 million per pound. “The suspect that is found to be the ringleader behind this clandestine marijuana operation has violated Article 114 and 111, with the harshest penalty being the death penalty,” he concluded. This just seems severe for a young student just because marijuana laws aren’t up to date to modern times.
